The MVP focused on making wine pairing simple, fast, and confidence-boosting. Two core flows, Food to Wine and Wine to Food, allow users to enter key inputs like type, budget, and occasion, then receive instant recommendations with clear “why it works” explanations.
The AI used flavor profiles and user preferences to deliver relevant pairings in seconds. Features like favorites, search history, and visual cues made the experience more personal and easy to revisit.

SKETCHING
Early sketches mapped the core flows, Food to Wine and Wine to Food, creating a consistent and intuitive experience from either starting point.
Screens focused on clear language and simple layouts to guide users without clutter. Results highlighted top matches with labels like Best Match or Good Match, along with short “why it works” explanations to build confidence.
DESIGN INSPIRATION
The VinelyAI moodboard blends the elegance of wine culture with the joy of shared dining. Sophisticated typography, wine-inspired colors, and lifestyle imagery create a look that feels refined yet approachable.
The visual style reflects VinelyAI’s goal to make wine pairing accessible, engaging, and enjoyable for all users.
DESIGN SYSTEM
The VinelyAI design system creates a friendly, easy-to-navigate experience. A warm, wine-inspired palette and modern typography balance approachability with a premium feel.
Consistent spacing, clear hierarchy, and simple icons reduce cognitive load, while reusable components like pairing cards and save buttons ensure a seamless, consistent experience.

Two parallel flows, Food to Wine and Wine to Food, branch from a central home hub. Users can enter a dish or scan a bottle to receive curated recommendations.
Simple filters, clear pairing details, and save and share features keep the experience focused. Onboarding, chat support, and favorites are connected through consistent navigation, helping users move through the app with ease.
HIGH FIDELITY WIREFRAMES
High-fidelity wireframes translated early concepts into a polished, approachable interface. A warm color palette, clean typography, and clear hierarchy help recommendations stand out.
